• Alpha Omega Publications has several free offers, and one of them is a daily Bible verse and devotional geared for the home educator.   After you sign up, it is sent to your email each morning, and provides a great way to get that extra push of encouragement for the day.   
• ABC Devos is a blog with devotionals designed for high school and college students.  As our young ones are leaving the nest, here is a great source of encouragement to keep the faith!

Discounts

• Homeschool Buyers Co-op  offers great deals on all kinds of products. With over 30,000 members (it's free to join) HSBC can get the same kind of discounts as other schools, oftentimes more than 50%.  We have purchased items or online services several times and have always been pleased.

School Resources

• Learn countries, capitals, mountains, and bodies of water at this fantastic site!
• Be sure to check out both Alpha Omega Publications and Homeschool Buyers Co-op for links to free resources.  HSBC is building a huge base for field trips, and hundreds of links for school subjects.
• Organization Help:  www.donnayoung.org   offers free downloadable homeschool planners, lesson plans, calendars, grade books, tips, printables, and transcript templates. She has a variety from which to choose in order to meet your needs. This is a HUGE time-saver! 

Home Resources

• Hillbilly Housewife   is a great place to learn how to organize your home as well as save money on your household budget.  This website also offers a link that provides weekly menus for the Angel Food Ministry.
• And what is the Angel Food Ministry?  Glad you asked!  This is a wonderful ministry that provides high quality food at a great deal.  The folks aren't interested in how much or how little money you make.  They are in existence to help anyone who needs it.  There are pick up sites all over the US.
