HSLB accepts Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, or your check from a U.S. bank. If payment is made by check, PLEASE NOTE YOUR DELIVERY WILL BE DELAYED UP TO TWO
WEEKS to allow for bank processing time. Merchandise is shipped when funds have cleared our account.
Shipping Policy
All our packages are shipped with Delivery Confirmation Service at no extra charge and are typically shipped within 48 hours of purchase.
We offer two standard US shipping options, via the US Postal Service: Media Rate and Priority Mail. We also ship internationally, using the rates shown in the chart below.
Media Mail: Our most cost effective option is Media Rate (also known as Book Rate). Media Rate shipments may take up to 10 days to arrive. We most often utilize this option and have been very pleased with the service and cost savings. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii or Military APO addresses may expect Media Rate shipments to take up to 6 weeks to arrive. If timely delivery is a factor, we suggest US Priority Mail.
Priority Mail: USPS Priority Mail typically arrives within 2-5 business days.
Canadian shipments (Airmail):
Canadian Shipments via USPS Airmail Parcel Post are calculated at approximately 3
times the Media Rate. Delivery can be expected in 6 - 10 days.
Other International Orders (Airmail):
All other International Shipments via USPS Airmail Parcel Post are
calculated at approximately 6.5 times the Media Rate. Delivery can be expected in 6
-10 days. International shipping costs can vary significantly, depending upon the size and weight of your order. Please note in your order how quickly you wish to receive items, and we will notify you of the best available shipping option, with the appropriate pricing. Your order total will be adjusted accordingly.

Return Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. However, if you are not completely happy with your purchase, for whatever reason, please contact us by clicking here and let us know. We will gladly refund your purchase price upon return of your order. Please contact us within 30 days of your original purchase date.
Our Books
We stock new and used, paperback and hardback titles. Most of our new titles are publisher’s remainders and overstocks. These titles are purchased at discounted rates from the publishers and are typically marked with a black line or dot on the bottom page edges (remainder mark) . These remainders are completely new, unread titles and the discounted price allows us to pass the savings on to you!
Our used books are graded in regards to condition (book quality ratings) and are priced accordingly. Most of our used titles are in very good or better condition. We have had many satisfied customers!

Earning Book Points:
- For every $1.00 you spend on merchandise at the Homeschool Library Builder, earn 1 FREE Book Point to use towards a future purchase.
- Book Points are issued in whole dollar amounts only.
- Book Points are awarded based on your total merchandise purchased per sale.
- Book Points are not awarded on shipping and sales tax costs.
- Your Book Point earnings will be displayed next to your name when logging into the Homeschool Library Builder website.
Applying Book Points to a Purchase:
- One Book Point has a redeemable value of $0.067 when applied towards a purchase on the Homeschool Library Builder website.
- Book Points may be applied towards merchandise purchased only.
- Book Points may not be applied towards shipping costs.
- Book Points may not be applied towards sales tax costs.
- Shipping Costs will be based on the original Total Merchandise Value.
- Sales tax applied to all Texas orders will be calculated using the adjusted total merchandise value after Book Point discount.
- Unused Book Points have no expiration date.
- HSLB Book Points are non-refundable or transferable.
